EA: How it works:
FXPROmaker
EA places buy
and sell hedged orders as the price ranges up and down
the chart. Being a grid/martingale EA, as the price
falls a certain distance from the original order, each
new order is doubled in size. For added safety,
each trade has a stop and a take profit order as well
as the hedge orders.
As our selected currency moves up and down, our pending orders will be triggered with increasing step widths to limit the number of orders and potential drawdowns. Thus, we will have some long orders and some short active orders always with some pending limit hedge orders.
Then sooner or later, when price starts to trend, we will start to see profits closed. The last order placed will be for bigger lot sizes and the profits will cover the previous orders losses, always for a net overall gain.
There are several strategies/pairs to try in the manual.
NOTE: even though the programmer likes to trade the UsdJpy, I do not recommend it....this EA does NOT do well with volatile trending pairs...so stay away from the UsdJpy, the EurUsd, the GbpUsd, the GbpJpy, the EurJpy, etc.
I started trading only the Eur/Gbp scalping strategy with the default settings, using 0.01 micro mini lots...and within four weeks doubled my account and then added the Chf/Jpy which is a different strategy, again using the default settings and 0.01 micro mini lots.
I have since decided that trading only one strategy per account is the safest way to go, and the EurGbp and ChfJpy strategies are my favorites (the EurGbp makes the fastest money as it's a scalping strategy, but is the riskiest...however, if you change the default settings in the manual and DOUBLE them, it's safer), but each need to be traded separately in their own account.
The key to safety is using safe margin amounts, and the stops and hedging aspect of the orders keeps the risk factor a little smaller. If you over-leverage you can blow your account, so be very conservative and wise with your lot sizes, don't get greedy! Always start out with 0.01 micro mini lots for accounts up to $50,000 and learn how the strategies work.
